is a small, independent, Roman Catholic school, founded in

collaborating with families to form students (Grades 1- 12)
through a classical, liberal arts curriculum
in accordance with the teachings of the Magisterium.
We are currently seeking two High
School Teachers for the 2010-2011 academic year.
- Humanities (Literature and Thought,
History and Geography)
- Maths and Sciences
We would especially value your ability
to teach Latin.
However, even if your preference is to teach students in the
early or middle years, we invite you to contact us.
Ideally, you have:
- a love and knowledge of and adherence
to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church
- familiarity with the Church¡¦s
vision for the education of youth
- knowledge of classical curriculum
philosophies
- teaching experience in an educational,
youth or pastoral setting
- a post secondary degree or equivalent
combination of relevant education and experience
- leadership and teaching experience
in an educational, youth or pastoral setting
- a post secondary degree or equivalent
combination of relevant education and experience
- excellent communication, organizational
and time management skills
We are located in Peterborough, Ontario,
Canada, the seat of the Bishop of the Peterborough Diocese,
about 90 minutes from downtown Toronto, or 3 hours from Ottawa.
Peterborough and surrounding area is a nice (and exceptionally
affordable) blend of urban and rural community.
Salaries are commensurate with experience, qualifications and
family requirements.
